Horus Heresy: Legions Imperialis – Whirlwind and Scorpius Missile Tank Squadrons

The Scorpius is a tank chassis created at the request of the Space Wolves Legion to provide indirect fire support for assault operations, thanks to its advanced missile launcher systems. The Scorpius is ideally suited for such operations and was cleared for use by all Legiones Astartes before the Horus Heresy began. In addition to the Scorpius, the Legiones Astartes also use many other mobile artillery systems, including the Whirlwind. With indirect-firing multiple missile launchers, they can cover large areas with explosive projectiles.

From this multipart plastic kit, you can build four Whirlwinds and four Scorpius Missile Tanks, mobile artillery for your Legiones Astartes armies for Legions Imperialis. Both are capable of indirect fire, with the Scorpius focusing on enemy vehicles, knights, and even Titans, and the Whirlwind being best at flushing enemy infantry out of cover. Up to four of your vehicles can be equipped with an optional Dozer Blade to customize your Missile Tanks to some extent.

This kit comprises 120 plastic components and 1 Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet with 1130 high-quality, waterslide transfers to adorn your miniatures.

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
