Peasant Militias are recruited from the villages and towns, small settlements outside the mighty walls of Cathayan metropolises. These provincial troops are not as well-equipped as the professional armies of the Empire, favouring simple weapons like spears and bows, but they are far more numerous and no less well-organised in battle.

From the Field to the Front

This multi-part plastic kit allows you to build a 20-strong Peasant Militia unit for your Grand Cathay armies in games of Warhammer: The Old World. Numerous and highly disciplined, their value lies more in their quantity than their skill. The peasant soldiers can be equipped with war bows or long spears, making this flexible kit sure to find a place in your armies.

Simple Folk, Easily Adaptable

The contents of this set can be built either as one large unit of 20 or as two smaller units of 10 fighters – each with their own optional musicians, standard bearers, and champions, who can be equipped with a war bow or shield and feature one of 2 heads. There is a range of interchangeable parts to easily customise your warriors of wind and field.
