Warhammer 40,000: Adeptus Mechanicus – Ironstrider Ballistarius

With its characteristic gait, the two-legged, armoured artillery platform known as the Ironstrider Ballistarius is a fearsome sight. Its gyroscopes provide stability, and a data-tether feeds it with accumulated knowledge of its foes; an Ironstrider Ballistarius is so accurate that, should any enemy ever survive an encounter with one, legends would be told about them.

A mobile gun platform, an Ironstrider Ballistarius can be equipped with one of two weapon options: a twin-linked cognis autocannon or a twin-linked cognis lascannon. The legs can be posed in two different positions and the suspensors can be set at different angles, and the entire miniature is covered in the sensors, data-gathering equipment and aerials characteristic of the Adeptus Mechanicus. Four different heads are included for the gunner, three cowled and one masked with a rebreather.

This multi-part plastic kit contains everything needed to build either one Ironstrider Ballistarius or a Sydonian Dragoon. It comes with a small transfer sheet and a Citadel 105x70mm Oval Base.
