Warhammer 40,000: Combat Patrol – Astra Militarum

A Cadian Command Squad of officers and the veterans who protect them lead this elite force into battle. The core of this army consists of experienced Kasrkin, equipped with a powerful arsenal of weapons. They are supported by Attilan Rough Riders, highly mobile cavalry that are devastating in a charge and can easily encircle slower enemies.

This set contains 25 plastic miniatures, representing a complete Drayden's Lance force for Combat Patrol games in Warhammer 40,000. It is an ideal way to start a new Astra Militarum army or expand an existing collection. What's more, you save money compared to buying the contents individually.

In the Cadian Command Squad, the commander is armed with either a laspistol, bolt pistol, or plasma pistol in one hand and a chainsword, power sword, or power fist in the other. The veterans by his side are all differently equipped – a Medic with a lasgun and medical gear, a Vox-caster with a laspistol and high-powered comms device, a Bodyguard with a laspistol and either a chainsword, power sword, or power fist, and a Standard Bearer with a lasgun and regimental standard. The Bodyguard and Standard Bearer can instead be built as weapon specialists and equipped with a flamer, grenade launcher, melta, or plasma gun.

The Kasrkin are highly trained soldiers equipped with hot-shot lasguns, powered by an energy cell on their backs. They can alternatively be equipped with various special weapons – including grenade launchers, hot-shot volley guns, and meltas. The kit includes many interchangeable heads and accessories, allowing you to customise your squad to your liking. Furthermore, parts are included to build specialists such as a camouflaged sniper, combat medic with stims, explosive pioneer, and more.

The Attilan Rough Riders each wield a hunting lance, which can be built with a frag tip for use against infantry or a melta tip for use against vehicles. Two Rough Riders can also be built with an electro-shock lance, and the kit includes parts for two Rough Rider Sergeants with a choice of two feathered heads each, as well as optional power sabres – either raised in attack or sheathed at the hip.

This kit comprises 533 plastic components, 15x Citadel 28.5mm Round Bases, and 10x Citadel 60x35.5mm Oval Bases. This kit also includes 2x Astra Militarum Transfer Sheets, each with 597 high-quality transfers to customise your miniatures.

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
