Warhammer 40,000: Combat Patrol – Tyranid Assault Brood

Tyranids can adopt a terrifying array of forms, each more horrific than the last. Small raiding forces have been observed led by a creature known as a Parasite of Mortrex. These forces are protected by heavily armoured Tyrant Guard and supported by walking artillery known as Biovores, which fire living spore mines across the battlefield. The most dangerous elements are perhaps the aggressive and stealthy Genestealers, who charge forward to tear and rend with razor-sharp claws.

If you wish to devour all biomass in the galaxy, this box is the perfect way to start a new Tyranids collection – or expand an existing army – and save money compared to buying the kits individually. The force is led by a nightmarish Parasite of Mortrex, which infects its prey with a barbed ovipositor. Three Tyrant Guard can break through the toughest foes, while Genestealers skulk forward to mop up any survivors. Finally, a Biovore provides long-range support. These 18 plastic miniatures represent a complete Tyranids Combat Patrol, which you can use in thrilling, tactical Combat Patrol games of Warhammer 40,000 – the rules for this Combat Patrol are available as a free download on the Warhammer Community website.

This set includes the following 18 plastic Tyranids miniatures:

The miniatures in this box are highly customisable. The Genestealers feature various head options and the Biovore can alternatively be built as a flame-spewing Pyrovore.

The Tyrant Guard can be built with rending claws, scything talons, or bone swords and lash whips. The heads, bodies, tails, legs, arms, and weapons are interchangeable amongst the miniatures, allowing you to indulge your inner hive mind as you assemble them. They can alternatively be built as Hive Guard, armed with impaler cannons or shock cannons.

This kit comprises 260 plastic components, 1x Citadel 80mm Round Base, 1x Citadel 40mm Round Base, 1x Citadel 25mm Round Base, 3x Citadel 50mm Round Bases, and 10x Citadel 32mm Round Bases.

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
