Gargoyles are often the first wave of a Tyranid swarm to reach the battlefield. Thus, a Tyranid attack is preceded by the beating of thousands of leathery wings as broods of Gargoyles descend upon the enemy, blacking out the sun and unleashing deadly salvos from their Fleshborer Beetles.
