It is said that a dark terror stalks the high mountain pass above Cirith Ungol, prowling its winding tunnels and hunting all who dare enter its domain. This creature is Shelob, the spawn of Ungoliant – a vast, bloated spider that has dwelt in Mordor for countless ages.

Over the centuries, many beings have fallen into Shelob’s web. She prefers fresh, warm blood and delights in injecting her prey with a paralysing venom before wrapping them in silk to be consumed later.

This multi-part plastic kit allows you to build:

• a poisoned Frodo, for use in the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game

Shelob is an imposing and fearsome model, covered in intricate details that show her immense age, making her a joy to paint and collect. The kit also includes scenic basing elements. Gollum is shown crawling across a rocky base, while the webbed Frodo miniature can be used as a scenario marker, as featured in Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game Journal: The Treachery of Gollum (sold separately).
