Kroot Hunting Pack – Combat Patrol

The Kroot have sworn allegiance to the T’au Empire, but often operate as independent hunting packs that range far ahead of the main forces. Armed with distinctive weapons and combining traditional hunting tactics with advanced technology, they provide the T’au with deadly close-combat specialists. The term Kroot encompasses many different creatures, from the mighty Krootox beasts to the swift Kroot hounds.

This packed box is a great way to start or expand a Kroot-themed T’au Empire army, while saving money compared to buying the miniatures separately.

The force is led by a Kroot Lone-spear riding a reptilian Kalamandra. Behind him charge the brutal Krootox Rampagers, elite melee line-breakers. The core of the force is formed by a Farstalker Kinband, deadly hunters capable of securing and holding key objectives. They are supported by a Krootox Rider equipped with heavy weaponry.

This set includes 17 multipart plastic miniatures, forming a complete Combat Patrol force for Warhammer 40,000. The rules for this Combat Patrol are available as a free download on the Warhammer Community website.

The miniatures feature many customisation options:

• The Kroot Lone-spear can be armed with a Kroot rifle or explosive hunting spear and throwing spears, with head and pose options for both rider and Kalamandra.
• The Krootox Rider can carry either a repeater cannon or bolt launcher.
• The Krootox Rampagers include multiple weapon and head options.
• The Farstalker Kinband offers many specialist and weapon options.
