Horus Heresy: Legiones Astartes – Legion Sky-hunter Squadron

Sky-hunters are feared assault units that use advanced and powerful jetbikes for transport. These vehicles, supported by anti-gravity systems and powered by jet engines, resemble compact flyers more than ground-based bikes, and can maintain high speeds during low-altitude flight for extended periods. Their lift capacity is sufficient not only to carry a heavily armoured Space Marine and their equipment through the air, but also a variety of mounted Heavy Weapons and ammunition supplies, providing Sky-hunters with potent, mobile firepower.

This multi-part plastic kit builds three Sky-hunters – capable Legionaries mounted on swift jetbikes. Each bike can be armed with your choice of heavy bolter, multi-melta, plasma cannon, or volkite caliver, and offers a choice of Loyalist and Traitor iconography, as well as additional accessories such as holstered pistols, sheathed chainswords, an augury scanner, and a stowed helmet. The Space Marine pilots feature interchangeable heads and chest plates and can be built in various poses – both hands on the handlebars, one pistol raised in the air, or brandishing a chainsword. Each is armed with a chainsword and your choice of bolt pistol or volkite serpentis – the kit also includes a hand flamer.

This kit comprises 161 plastic components and is supplied with three Citadel 60mm Round Bases and three Citadel 50mm Ball Stem Flying Bases. Also included is a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet, with 44 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
