When it was developed, the Type II "Crusade" power armour was the pinnacle of Space Marine technology – an all-safe, radiation-proof armour that could absorb more damage than ever before. Despite its age, it was still widely in use when the Horus Heresy broke out.
This multipart plastic kit builds 10 Assault Marines, powerful shock troops for your Legiones Astartes armies in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. With their speed and chainaxes, they are ideally suited to assault open flanks and bypass enemy front lines, throwing deadly sand into the gears of their plans.
This kit includes parts for up to two Sergeants, each of whom can be armed with a disintegrator pistol or volkite serpenta, a power maul, and a melta bomb. Each member of the squad can swap their bolt pistol for a combat shield to absorb more damage as they leap across the battlefield. Two Legionaries can optionally wield a Heavy Chainaxe for harder hitting power. 16 heads in 8 designs are included, as well as a selection of grenades, pouches, and holsters to further personalise your miniatures.
This kit can be combined with the separately available Close Combat Weapons Upgrade Set to give you even more tactical options.
These miniatures bear no Legion-specific markings, so you can field them in any Legiones Astartes force, whether you are loyal to the Emperor or have joined Horus' rebellion.
This set includes 1 Horus Heresy transfer sheet with 618 high-quality, waterslide transfers for decorating your miniatures. It contains iconography for the Sons of Horus, Imperial Fists, Iron Warriors, and Salamanders, as well as generic symbols, numbers, and honour markings.
This set comprises 244 plastic components and 10x Citadel 32mm Round Bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
