Middle-earth: The Path of Cirith Ungol – Shelob & Gollum

It is said that a dark terror haunts the mountain pass high above Cirith Ungol, lurking in its winding tunnels and preying on anyone who dares to enter its domain. This creature is Shelob, daughter of Ungoliant – a gigantic, bloated spider who has dwelt in Mordor for millennia.

Over the ages, countless creatures have fallen into Shelob’s web. Yet she particularly delights in fresh, warm blood, preferring to inject her prey with a paralysing venom before spinning them into her web to be saved for later.

This multi-part plastic kit allows you to build:

• Shelob, a mighty spider for Army of the Great Eye and Cirith Ungol armies
• Gollum, a twisted fighter for the Garrison of Ithilien
• a poisoned Frodo, for use in the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game

Shelob is a fearsome opponent, a huge model that’s a highlight for collectors and painters alike. Her surface is covered in details that reflect her immense age. The kit also includes scenic base elements. Gollum stands on a rocky base, depicted in a creeping pose. The webbed Frodo miniature can be used as a scenario marker, as described in the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game Journal: The Treachery of Gollum (sold separately).

The miniatures are unpainted and require assembly. We recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
